How it works

One account. Ride one day, offer a seat the next.

Komyut connects commuters on the same corridor. Car owners offer the seats they’re not using; riders reserve them at a fixed fare. Here’s exactly how it works on both sides.

Before your first trip

Everyone verifies once.

It takes a few minutes, and it’s what lets you get into a car with someone new and feel fine about it.

Sign up with email

We send a one-time code to your inbox. No password to remember.

Confirm your phone

An SMS code confirms the number offerers and riders will reach you on.

Verify your identity

A government ID and a quick selfie. Done once, then you can ride or offer.

02

04

Meet, ride, rate

Meet at the corridor pickup point, check the plate, ride to work and rate the trip afterwards.

Offering a seat

Turn the drive you already make into fuel money.

Switching modes

Car at the mechanic? Just switch to riding.

Your Komyut account works both ways. Tap the mode switch on the home screen to go from offering seats to finding one. Your ratings, history and payment details come with you.

Good commutes, both ways

Tips for riders

  • Be at the pickup point five minutes before departure.
  • Match the plate number in the app before you get in.
  • Cancel early if your plans change, so someone else can take the seat.
  • Rate every trip — it keeps the community honest.

Tips for offerers

  • Post your trip the evening before so riders can plan.
  • Leave on time — riders have desks to get to too.
  • Keep the car clean and the AC on when you can.
  • Only take riders booked through the app.
